Urban Clean Co. is a 24-hour cleaning service company based in India, offering residential and commercial cleaning services. The brand identity uses a crow and broom as key visual elements to represent alertness, efficiency, and thorough cleaning. The design focuses on clarity and trust, creating a simple and recognizable identity for a modern cleaning service brand.
Problem
Urban Clean Co. started as a local cleaning service but had a clear vision to expand across multiple cities in India. Their initial requirement was a logo; however, most competitors were using the same clichéd symbols like buckets and brushes. The challenge was to create a distinctive identity that avoided common visuals while supporting their ambition to grow as a recognizable, scalable brand.
Research & Strategy
After researching the cleaning industry, we noticed that most brands used the same common symbols like buckets and brushes. To create something different, we looked at nature for inspiration and chose the crow, which naturally helps keep the environment clean. As requested by the client, a broom was added to clearly represent the cleaning service, forming a unique and meaningful logo concept.
Solution
Based on the concept, we created a simple and clear brand identity using the crow and broom as the main symbol. A strong black and ash color palette was chosen to reflect cleanliness, reliability, and professionalism. The result is a distinctive and easy-to-recognize identity that supports the brand’s plan to expand across different cities in India.
Results
The final identity gave Urban Clean Co. a unique and recognizable look within the cleaning industry. By moving away from common visual clichés, the brand now stands out clearly among competitors. The simple design and strong black-and-ash color palette make the logo easy to use across uniforms, vehicles, and digital platforms, supporting the company’s goal of expanding into new local cities across India.
